Grace and peace to you.

I hope you are doing well and loving every minute of life on Earth. What are the other viable options really? Daddy God loves you so much and He is cheering you on from Heaven. He sees your heart and His desire is for you to be everything you were created to be, do everything you were created to do, and have every healthy relationship you were created to have. The key to unlocking the mystery of God's power in you life is for you to live a life of appreciation. Take the time necessary every morning, noon and night for the next 21 days to thank God for everything you can think of. Then, thank the people who mean the most in your life for who they are and what they add to your life (the good stuff only). Next, thank your bosses, mentors, protectors, providers, doctors, and anyone else you can thank for the important role they play in your life, Moreover, thank a stranger, a military personnel, a firefighter, an ambulance driver, a police officer and any other public servant you can think of for laying their life down so that you and I can enjoy the freedoms that we do. Finally, look around your world this morning and ask God to open your eyes with thanksgiving in your heart so that you can tap into His power of appreciation.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. Psalm 100:4

The key to unlocking the gate where God lives is to thank Him. It is appreciation that causes those hidden closed places where God's power dwells to open up to us. This is why murmuring, complaining, gossiping, lying, back biting and like minded activities rank highest with God's lists of things He hates. You will slam the door shut on the blessings God has hidden for you if your heart is full of negativity, blame, and hatefulness. It is Daddy's desire to bless your life and open doors that no man can shut but you have to learn His ways. His way is the path of appreciation and praise. The mystery of Psalm 100 is so beautiful when you learn to live by it: Thank and praise His name, thank and praise His name, thank and praise His name. Appreciation opens the door, praise propels you into His courts where God lives and every good thing in Him is accessed. This principle is so valuable and powerful in your life that the next 21 days are devoted to laying a foundation of appreciation and praise.

Because we are created in Dad's image we can access the other doors of relationships in our life with this same principle. When you and I make a habit out of verbally appreciating the people in our lives we gain access to the love stored in them. The atmosphere in your work place will change when people genuinely feel appreciated by you, the same will happen in your school, and most importantly in your home. Grumpy is dead! It is time to rise up and destroy the work of bitterness that complaining has sown into your life.

You were created to walk in the power of appreciation. Doors that have been shut to you will open because of your attitude of gratitude. Thank God for everything, especially the things which have made you bitter in the past. Ask Him to open your eyes and show you how to be thankful for the things that have made you broken or frustrated before. Pray: Daddy God, fill my heart and mouth with appreciation for all of the relationships that you have brought into my life. Lead me away from the destructive relationships that are keeping me from living my life to the fullest in you. Teach me to appreciate you and others every moment and every day of my lie. Illuminate the people and the opportunities for appreciating you and them so that I will be able to act with gratitude. Empower me by your Spirit to be a force for faith expressing itself as love. In Jesus name, Amen!
